I partner closely with clients and teams to understand problems and design elegant solutions that are in scope. These days I’m called a Product Designer or a UX/UI Designer.
With an expertise in user interface design, I have over 20 years of experience working with tech companies like PayPal and Yahoo!, as well as with design agencies — serving clients across industries. I've evolved my design toolset to facilitate building digital experiences at any scale, with a passion for fostering team collaboration from strategy to implementation. I've been involved in the design process for mobile and web apps ranging from mobile payments, to email, to social networks and tools for publishing content. Read more at: linkedin.com/in/jimkenney

Multi-Product Overhaul for EF Tours
EF’s products make domestic and international travel for students possible by partnering with districts, schools and teachers. I was the lead UX for a multi-product, mobile-first, responsive redesign. Wireframing, prototyping and testing on sprint cycles, I was involved from strategy to launch. Over 3 years later the site architecture remains the same: eftours.com

Custom software for grants administrators and applicants
Process-based workflows enable grants administrators to create custom applications. Administrators can manage submissions, external reviews and outcomes.
Applicants create an account to apply for an opportunity and complete their application over time. A responsive design allows for access on any device type.
A wellness portal adapted to go remote
A highly configurable portal allows the client to support multiple corporate programs. The virtual health fair was a response to the pandemic lockdown and now allows for greater scale and remote access to programming.

A web application for browser-based book building, curation and sharing in the digital age.
